Lately we've been taking a lot of photos at night in the city. We're kind of addicted to it. On the one hand, because the artificial light from buildings and advertisements makes colors and shapes appear and look completely different than during the day. On the other hand, because it's a kind of paradox how quiet the city is at night and how threatening and inhospitable it looks at the same time with the harsh contrasts and superhumanly illuminated buildings. While we have been working with cameras and various other artists in this field, we have always been fascinated by the work of @gxace. In our eyes, he also picks up on precisely this supposed contradiction and wraps it up in an aesthetic that has inspired us greatly.
